Leaks are rare, but possible under certain conditions, especially if the pod is exposed to heat or pressure changes (like air travel). In most cases, this does not mean the pod is faulty, and cleaning the pod will allow you to keep enjoying it.
Here's what to do:
Remove the pod from the device right away.
Wipe all surfaces of the pod with soft tissue. You may use an alcohol swab as well, and usually this removes any sticky residue.
Wipe the inside of The Vaporiser using soft tissue, but avoid using sharp objects or pushing on the contacts at the bottom of The Vaporiser pod cavity.
Find the small air opening on the left side of the pod (left when looking at the back of the pod with labels and QR code - you will see a corresponding opening on the device as well) and blow gently into the air opening on the pod, until you can feel smooth airflow and no bubbling noise.
Any excess liquid will exit through the mouthpiece.
Wipe the mouthpiece clean using an alcohol wipe or dry tissue
Pod should now return to it's normal state.
To avoid leaking:
Do not fly with your pod. If you must, remove the pod from the device, wrap it in a paper towel or soft tissue and travel with it upside down in the airplane. Most effective method is to keep it in the seat pocket in front/next to you to ensure it is really upside down. Upon arrival, remove the tissue, check and wipe the pod if needed, and give it 30 seconds right-side up before use.
Keep the pod away from heat. Keep away from heaters, and make sure never to leave your pod in a hot car. Never leave the pod or your vaporiser in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces.
Whenever possible, keep your pod upright.
